South Vale Drive runs parallel with what used to be the railway line to Silverwood mine, the line running behind the houses on the right of the bottom photo above. Looking at the top photo at the bottom of the street on the left is a snickett [footpath ] that leads to Park Lane at the side of the old railway bridge.
