Often referred to as Chinatown which may be because the street is on the site of an old Quarry, and clay may have been extracted from there for local potteries? If anyone knows exactly why it was nicknamed Chinatown please tell us. From the names and years below it seems that Chesterhill Ave was constructed around 1923, around the same period as Sunnyside.
