MAPS OF WORKINGS A Presentation by Bruce Wilson |
|
A laymans diagram of Silverwood as I pictured it when I worked there in the late 70,s 80,s etc. very old workings, dating from the very early days of the pit. which were opened up again in the 70,s tidied up and new drifts were taken off the old roadways, down to new coal seams. The 2 maps show 2 sides of Silverwood pit bottom, one side Swallow Wood workings (worked out in the 80,s) the other, the new Braithwell Developments. |
