A short while ago [ 2006] I received a very nice guestbook entry for this site. "I am James West, and 8 years old. I have lived in Dalton all my life. I have used this site for my homework and it is very good. Thank you." I have to admit I was pretty impressed by young James because in true Yorkshire fashion he told me about himself, that he had used the site and why, commented on the site, and thanked me, all contained in a few direct words. I replied to James and received a very nice email from his parents Mark and Louise with an offer of the photos above. Louise informs me that she has also lived in Dalton all her life, and hopes that people will appreciate the changes to what was Dalton Brook. So now it is my turn to not only thank you James but also your Mum and Dad, for the wonderful photos on this page, which are really appreciated. John Doxey
