WHO LIVED WHERE AND WHEN
GOOGLE EARTH IMAGE OF DALTON
The pages regarding the streets are to record who lived on which street and the period they lived there.
Some of you may be amazed to learn who lived in the house that you were raised in, or the house where your ancestors lived, and also just how many people passed through the doorway as lodgers.
There will be listings of people who lived in Dalton Parva and Magna in the near future.
The list is by no means a complete listing but if you can help by sending in names and the address where they lived it would be very much appreciated.
If you spot any errors in spelling of names please let me know.
I will be linking the names on the street pages eventually, meanwhile a lot of the names can be found here Miners List which is a linked listing with further information on around 4,000 miners.
This site is listed as a local source of History on
An excellent government sponsored program dedicated to the enrichment of School learning nationwide. Rotherham Schools included.
