Mr.  Siddall the new owner contacted the site recently and informed me that the previous owner removed all the photos that were on display.
"I took the Dene Brook public house over back in Feb 06 and have been looking for old pictures of the pub and Dalton so I can put them up on the walls, can you help me at all in finding any pictures or do you have any that I could have a copy of. Any help would be great, thank you!"

If any locals can help Mr. Siddall with photos it would be very much appreciated.

Mr. Sidall would also be very interested in learning of the establishments history, as indeed so would I, so if you have any memories of the Dean Brook please send them in.

Luis Arroyo former Dalton resident who has kindly provided the photos on this page informs me.

"I have been to the Rotherham Public Library and the Dean Brook does not show on map printed in 1956, but in the next map of 1968 the Dean Brook is fully operational, given that a map takes quite some time to produce, and local residents recall the pub being built in the early 1950's, then we can assume that the pub came into existence around the period of 1956.
